Technology Laboratory personnel have many years of experience in providing scientific analysis for the environmental industry including: water and air quality testing, soil and sludge testing, and identification of unknown liquid and solid/mixed phase samples.

Recently, the EPA has mandated that oil refiners continuously monitor benzene at refinery fenceline locations using passive sorbent tubes. Technology Laboratory employs the Markes System, using Thermal Desorption (TD) for analysis of benzene for fenceline monitoring using EPA Method 325.

Our laboratory offers bulk and PCM asbestos testing services to our commercial clients. We are accredited to perform bulk asbestos testing in the state of Colorado by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP Lab Code 600232-0) following ISO/IEC 17025:2017. We are accredited to perform PCM asbestos analysis by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC.

Technology Laboratory is now certified by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC to analyze non-viable fungal (mold) samples from spore traps, bulk samples, tape lifts, and swabs. We are an active AIHA EMPAT performance testing participant following procedures in accordance with standard industry practice as outlined by ASTM.
